Description
Lime essential oil is a natural product made from the rind of the lime tree. It has a "purer" scent - more closely resembling the fruit. It is commonly used to treat acne, athletes foot, burns, candida, colds, dandruff, insect bites, nail fungus, sinusitis, and viral infections. LIME ESSENTIAL OIL RECIPE INSPIRATION
Lime Sugar Scrub
- c brown sugar or coconut sugar
2 - 3 avocado butter
2 T soft oil of choice, I like olive oil grapeseed oil but you can use any
5-10 drops lime essential oil
Gently melt the avocado butter and oil together in a water bath. Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar, lastly add in the lime essential oil. Spoon into a glass jar or tin, leave to set then enjoy! View ore recipes about our oil of the week in our blog.
